The 2024 Online Tour will be presented as a series of multilingual micro-documentaries. The Indonesian episode will be produced by IDN Times, an Indonesian mainstream media outlet, with Indonesian director Daniel Widjonarko at the helm. For the Thailand episode, we’ll partner with Today, a leading Thai online news website, and its editor-in-chief Noppatjak Attanon, who will bring his expertise as both director and host. In New Zealand, NZME, the country’s largest media group, will team up with emerging director Britt Walton. Our journey will continue in the Netherlands, where we’ll partner with FoodBev Media, an international publication on latest developments in the food and beverage industry, and British Chinese filmmaker Amy Wang. Amy Wang will serve as both director and host of the Netherlands episode. As the grand finale of the 2024 Online Tour, the China episode will be produced by the team behind the My China Story column from China International Communications Group, with emerging photographer Rainsh Lili Kler as our host.
Presented in English, Thai, and Indonesian languages, this year’s Online Tour will bring insights from international media and offer a comprehensive look at Yili’s open and transparent global value chain.
